Celia Collins joined Publicis Groupe Africa (PGA) in July 2022 as VP for Publicis Media with the vision to grow the media practice within South Africa.
This week, the IAS Scopen Report announced that Starcom South Africa – PGA’s communications and media planning agency – is the “Most Awarded Agency” and the “Media Agency Most Valued By Its Clients”. Starcom shone out with recognition across 11 categories, including: Creative Media Thinking, Mobile Solutions, Integrated Vision of Communications and more.
Publicis Media’s communications and performance marketing agency, Zenith – known as “The ROI Agency” – also stood out this year with multiple award and client wins. Zenith also expanded its work into Africa with a number of clients, including launching the first-ever Sub-Saharan African TikTok campaign.

Celia was also named the Top 3 Most Admired Media Agency Professional – voted by peers, marketing professionals, media agency professionals and media owners. Lynette was also voted Top 10 Most Admired Media Agency Professionals.
Celia was also presented with the 2023 “Shepherd” award at The MOST Awards, which is given in recognition to a person who not only has a significant presence in the media industry, but who also selflessly gives back to it.
